How do you price your tattoos?
I have a $300 minimum.
I schedule half-day and full-day sessions. Your cost will then be calculated at the end of your session, based on the amount of work compelted. Half-days will range from $300 to $700. Full-days will range from $700 to $1400. I can explain this in more detail during your consultation or while we are booking your first appointment.
If you have a budget, please let me know.
I am under 18. Can I get tattooed by you?
No. I do not tattoo minors.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Make sure you are well rested, well hydrated and have eaten recently. Take a shower, charge your phone or tablet up to full and wear comfortable clothing. Make sure that your clothing allows for me to get to the area to be tattooed. Our studio is small and mostly private, but I have pasties on hand to help with modesty.
I recommend bringing something to drink and snacks. Tattooing can take a lot out of you. Please don't drink alcohol the day of or night before your tattoo appointment, as this can hinder the healing process.
Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to fill out paperwork. You MUST have a valid ID with you.
Do you charge for designs? When can I see my drawing? Can you draw this before I schedule?
I don’t charge a design fee if you're booking a tattoo (art commissions are separate).
However, I do not begin designing until the booking fee is paid, no exceptions.
Design timelines vary. I may start early, or I might work on it closer to the appointment. You’re welcome to check in, but I can’t always guarantee a full preview beforehand.
If you have changes or concerns, reach out as early as possible. I want you to love your tattoo.
Do you do cover-ups?
I take cover up projects on a case by case basis. We will discuss your coverup at your consultation and make a decision there.
What is your touch-up policy?
Touch ups are handled on a case by case basis. I will do one touch up within the first 6 months of your tattoo, if it is needed. Touch-ups are for correcting imperfections that might happen during the healing process. Cover-ups NEVER qualify as a touch-up.
Things that are not considered a touch up would be: additions, color changes, or refreshing colors that have faded due to sun exposure. You are expected to care for your tattoo in the long-term by keeping it out of the sun and applying sunblock whenever necessary to keep it from fading. This type of work will be subject to my normal rates.
Do you take walk-in tattoos?
Sometimes. My schedule usually doesn’t allow for walk in tattoos, but occasionally, I’ll have time. If I have walk-in availability, I will post a story on my Instagram and FB.
Do I need a consultation?
Most likely. Our shop requires consultations for new projects.
If you are from out of town, we can do your consultation via zoom or text.
Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?
Yes, you can bring ONE support person, but no children.
Our studio is small and cannot accomodate several support people.
What if I am late?
Please reach out as soon as you know that you are running late by texting me at (833) 606-4838
I may have another appointment after yours. So, if you're running super late, we may have to reschedule.
Can I use numbing cream?
Yes, but be cautious. Numbing creams don’t always work and can cause skin reactions that affect healing or prevent tattooing.
If you use one:
- Apply 1–2 hours before your appointment
- Wrap it in plastic wrap
- Leave it on until we are ready to tattoo
Please let me know ahead of time if you plan to use numbing cream. You're responsible for following directions and choosing a safe product.
What things might prevent me from getting tattooed?
- Being under 18 years of age
- Being pregnant or currently breastfeeding
- Taking blood thinners
- Having an uncontrolled bleeding or blood clotting disorder (if it is under control, consult your physician before getting tattooed)
- Diabetes that is not under control (please consult your physician)
- Having a rash or open wound in area to be tattooed
- Being sunburned
- Being under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs
Most medical conditions that are under control, won't prevent you from being tattooed. However, it is always a good idea to consult your physician before getting tattooed.
Do you do commission artwork?
Yes, but not always. I enjoy commission artwork and design, but I am not always able to take work. If you are interested, please send me an e-mail and I will get back to you about it.
